The short answer
The Skechers Women’s Viper Court Pro 2.0 is the cushioned all-rounder, a shoe The Dink’s woman tester found “fairly neutral” in fit, though Skechers itself calls it Relaxed Fit; the Selkirk Women’s CourtStrike Pro 3.0 is built, in Selkirk’s words, on a “gender-specific mold” and carries a six-month outsole warranty; and the ASICS Women’s Gel-Resolution X is the structured stability pick, with a fit ASICS and The Dink’s testers describe differently, so read the sizing note first.
Our verdict
Our Top Picks: Women’s Pickleball Shoes
The women’s guides that rank for this search, and the r/Pickleball thread asking the same question, agree on one thing before any brand: fit decides it. Some court shoes run narrow, some roomy, and women testers’ notes on that are what this guide leans on. This guide compares eight women’s pickleball and court shoes and, for each one, gives the reason it fits women’s feet, with the source: the maker’s own women’s mold or sizing note, or a named review written by or for women players. Weights appear only with the size they were measured at and their source.
Every pick is a women’s model on a listing that was new and in stock on Amazon when we checked in October 2026, and each review names the exact women’s size and colour we link. Several shoes from women’s tests (JOOLA R4LLY, Franklin ACV Pro, Stria G1 Pro) are ones for which we could not confirm an Amazon listing, so they are mentioned but not picked. If you are shopping for a partner too, our men’s pickleball shoes compared does the same for men’s models.

Court type is given as the maker or a named retailer states it. Weight is per shoe, for the women’s size and from the source shown; weight changes with size and the sources weigh different sizes, so the figures are not a ranking. “Not published” means no maker or retailer page we read gives a figure with a size.

Which women’s pickleball shoe for which player
- Wide feet or a roomy toe box. Tennis Warehouse’s women playtesters list “Good option for wide feet” as an upside of the Hypercourt Express 2; The Dink’s 2025 tester found the Wave Enforce Tour 2 has “a slightly wider toe box”; Wilson says the Pickle Pro’s toe box “accommodates wider feet”. Our guides to women’s wide pickleball shoes and wide-fit options for women go further. Picks: K-Swiss Women’s Hypercourt Express 2, Mizuno Women’s Wave Enforce Tour 2 AC, Wilson Women’s Pickle Pro.
- Narrow or low-volume feet. The Dink’s 2026 tester says the Wave Exceed Tour 7 runs “on the narrower side”, and Pickleball Warehouse’s women playtesters describe a snug toe box; a narrow-footed playtester who favours a snug fit found this version slightly narrower still. ASICS says the Gel-Resolution X “may feel … snug for women”. Picks: Mizuno Women’s Wave Exceed Tour 7 AC, ASICS Women’s Gel-Resolution X.
- Stability first. ASICS lists DYNAWALL for stability on the Gel-Resolution X; Selkirk lists an outsole outrigger and a TPU shank; K-Swiss calls the Express Light Pickleball a stability shoe. Picks: ASICS Women’s Gel-Resolution X, Selkirk Women’s CourtStrike Pro 3.0, K-Swiss Women’s Express Light Pickleball.
- Cushioning. Skechers pairs an ULTRA GO foam midsole with a removable Arch Fit insole; Mizuno puts ENERZY NXT foam “throughout the footbed” of the Enforce Tour 2. Picks: Skechers Women’s Viper Court Pro 2.0, Mizuno Women’s Wave Enforce Tour 2 AC.
- Indoor and outdoor play. Both Mizuno picks carry AC (All Court, per their Amazon listing titles) in their names and Wilson says Duralast gives “traction on all surfaces”; Skechers names the pickleball court surface without saying indoor or outdoor. For how court surfaces change the ball as well, see our explainer on types of pickleball balls. Picks: Mizuno Women’s Wave Exceed Tour 7 AC, Wilson Women’s Pickle Pro, Skechers Women’s Viper Court Pro 2.0.
- Entry tier. The Skechers, the K-Swiss Express Light Pickleball and the Wilson sit at the entry tier of this lineup. Picks: Skechers Women’s Viper Court Pro 2.0, K-Swiss Women’s Express Light Pickleball, Wilson Women’s Pickle Pro.
How we chose shoes for women’s feet
How this guide was built
built from manufacturer documentation, published third-party reviews and owner reports; we have not tested these products ourselves.
The tests each shoe had to pass
- A women’s model, on Amazon. The exact women’s size and colour we link was new and in stock on Amazon. Amazon.com sold four of them, the brand’s own storefront three, and the ASICS listing’s offer rotated between the ASICS storefront and Tennis Express (named in that review).
- A stated reason it fits women. Either the maker says something specific about the women’s fit (Selkirk’s women’s mold, ASICS’s sizing note) or a named review was written by women players or for a women’s audience. A women’s version existing was not enough.
- A court outsole. Rubber court outsoles built for lateral movement; no running or walking shoes.
- Weight only with its size and source. Each weight is printed for the women’s size its source names, or “not published”. We do not rank the shoes by weight.
Who wrote the reviews we lean on and what women on r/Pickleball suggested
Who wrote the reviews we lean on
Each review has an evidence line. “Same series” means an independent publication tested the women’s model but did not state the size or colour, or tested the previous generation (the review says which). “Retailer review” means a shop that sells the shoe wrote it. The women’s sources are The Dink’s 2026 women’s shoe test by Emily Visnic, The Dink’s 2025 women’s shoe test, Verywell Fit’s tested roundup (its women’s pick was tested by a woman player), and the women’s playtests by Tennis Warehouse and Pickleball Warehouse, which sell the shoes and are graded as retailers. Specs come from Skechers, Selkirk, Mizuno and Wilson, the brands’ Amazon listings (for ASICS and K-Swiss, whose sites did not load for our readers), Tennis Warehouse, Pickleball Warehouse, Padel Warehouse and Pickleball Central.
What women on r/Pickleball suggested
In the r/Pickleball “Best women’s pickleball shoes?” thread, the original poster, a “true US women’s size 8”, asked whether a cushioned sole was fine for pickleball. A reply with seven points answered: “There is no overall ‘best’ just ‘best for your foot shape.'” Named suggestions included the K-Swiss Hypercourt Express 2, the K-Swiss Express Light Pickleball (“most comfortable court shoe for me”) and Skechers Viper Court shoes (“there is some cushioning”), alongside Nike, ASICS, On and Ryka models we could not match to an in-stock women’s listing.
Detailed Reviews
Skechers Women’s Viper Court Pro 2.0, Cushioned all-rounder
women's 8.5 · Pickleball courts
A woman who wants a cushioned pickleball shoe in a standard width at the entry tier.
$89.99 from AmazonAs of Oct 23, 18:00 UTCSkechers’ product page describes a pickleball shoe with an ULTRA GO foam midsole, a removable Arch Fit EVA insole, a Goodyear Gold compound outsole “for quick stops, explosive starts, and controlled slides on the pickleball court surface”, a rubber toe guard and a Relaxed Fit “for a roomy comfort fit at toe and forefoot”. Skechers adds that it is also suitable for padel and tennis, and gives no indoor or outdoor rating. It publishes no weight; Pickleball Warehouse lists 11.2 oz for a women’s 8.5 in Black/White.
Why it fits women: The Dink’s 2026 women’s test was written by a woman player who says “I’ve had multiple pairs over the years” and “I actually just threw out a pair that lasted me about a year and a half” (the article does not say which generation of Viper Court that pair was). She says they “break in easily” and that “the fit runs fairly neutral”. The fit sources differ: Skechers calls it a Relaxed Fit “for a roomy comfort fit at toe and forefoot”, while The Dink’s tester found it neutral. Her pair’s size and colour are not stated. In the r/Pickleball women’s thread an owner wrote that their Viper Court shoes have “some cushioning”, without naming the generation. Amazon.com sold the women’s 8.5 Medium we link.
Verdict
A cushioned women’s pickleball shoe that Skechers calls Relaxed Fit and The Dink’s tester found neutral in fit, at the entry tier of this lineup.
Evidence: Independently reviewed, same series. The Dink (2026 women’s test): women’s Viper Court Pro 2.0, size and colour not stated.
Specs (women’s size 8.5 Medium, Hot Pink)
- Court: the pickleball court surface; also padel and tennis (Skechers)
- Widths: Medium on the linked row
- Weight: 11.2 oz in a women’s 8.5, Black/White page (Pickleball Warehouse); Skechers publishes none
- Outsole: Goodyear Gold compound rubber; rubber toe guard (Skechers)
- Midsole: ULTRA GO foam; removable Arch Fit EVA insole (Skechers)
- Warranty: not published
Pros
- ULTRA GO foam midsole with a removable Arch Fit insole
- Easy break-in and a fit The Dink’s woman tester found neutral (Skechers calls it Relaxed Fit)
- Rubber toe guard listed by Skechers
- Sold by Amazon.com
Cons
- No outsole warranty or indoor/outdoor rating published
- The Dink’s test does not state the size or colour it wore
- Skechers’ own site offers no wide width for this style
Who should buy it
A woman who wants a cushioned pickleball shoe in a standard width at the entry tier.
Selkirk Women’s CourtStrike Pro 3.0, Women’s-specific mold
A woman who plays often, wants a pickleball-specific shoe sized on a women's mold, and values a maker's outsole warranty.
$127.99 from AmazonAs of Oct 23, 18:00 UTCSelkirk sells the CourtStrike Pro 3.0 as a pickleball shoe, and its Amazon listing, sold by the Selkirk Sport storefront, says the women’s version is “Designed with a gender-specific mold” that gives “more accurate sizing than standard women court shoes” (the maker’s claim). Selkirk’s women’s product page lists a 4-way grip rubber outsole with an outrigger, a removable supercritical-foam insole over an EVA PureFoam midsole with a TPU shank, a mesh weave upper and a weight of 10.6 oz based on a women’s size 7. It is “Backed by a 6-month outsole warranty.” Selkirk states no court type.
No one had published a women’s test of the 3.0 when we checked. The Dink’s 2026 women’s test covered the women’s CourtStrike Pro 2.0, the previous generation: its tester describes a “secure, form-to-foot feel” and says the shoe stands out for stability and comfort. Verywell Fit’s woman tester wore the women’s CourtStrike Pro (generation not stated), and Verywell wrote: “We like the roomy toe box and strong grip of Selkirk’s CourtStrike Pro Pickleball Shoes”. Selkirk lists the 3.0’s changes as the upper, an interior lining and a lighter insole board.
Verdict
A pickleball shoe whose maker describes a women’s-specific mold and publishes a women’s weight and an outsole warranty; the women’s tests cover earlier generations.
Evidence: Independently reviewed, previous generation. The Dink (2026 women’s test): women’s CourtStrike Pro 2.0, size not stated.
Specs (women’s size 8, Lilac)
- Court: not stated by Selkirk
- Widths: one width
- Weight: 10.6 oz in a women’s 7 (Selkirk)
- Outsole: 4-way grip rubber with stability outrigger (Selkirk)
- Midsole: EVA PureFoam with TPU shank; removable supercritical-foam insole (Selkirk)
- Warranty: 6-month outsole warranty (Selkirk)
Pros
- Women’s-specific mold for sizing, per Selkirk’s listing
- Six-month outsole warranty published by the maker
- Weight published for a women’s size by the maker
- Sold by the Selkirk Sport storefront
Cons
- The women’s tests we cite cover earlier CourtStrike Pro versions, not the 3.0
- Single width
- Selkirk states no court type
Who should buy it
A woman who plays often, wants a pickleball-specific shoe sized on a women’s mold, and values a maker’s outsole warranty.
ASICS Women’s Gel-Resolution X, Structured stability
A woman who wants a structured stability court shoe and is willing to check the sizing advice, or order the Wide.
$139.95 from AmazonAs of Oct 23, 18:00 UTCASICS sells the Gel-Resolution X as a tennis shoe; its Amazon listing says “DYNAWALL technology: Helps improve stability”, DYNALACING, “AHARPLUS outsole rubber: Improves durability”, a PGUARD layer in the forefoot’s inside area, forefoot GEL and a two-piece midsole. asics.com did not load for our readers. Tennis Warehouse, which sells it, says the outsole gives “traction on any court surface” and lists 13.5 oz for a women’s 8.5.
Why it fits women, and where the sources disagree: the ASICS product page (via search snippet) says the shoe “may feel spacious for men but snug for women. Consider adjusting a half size accordingly”, and the ASICS Amazon listing says it “runs narrow” and suggests a half size up or the Wide. The Dink’s 2025 women’s test found the opposite on her foot: “I especially love how accommodating the toe box is”, with a suggestion to size down half a size for a snug fit; The Dink’s 2026 tester says it “runs slightly wider than previous versions”. Neither Dink article states the size or colour tested. When we checked, Amazon’s product API showed the ASICS storefront (Asics America) holding the offer and a later page read showed Tennis Express, so the seller may rotate.
Verdict
A structured court shoe that two women’s tests rate for stability; check ASICS’s sizing note against The Dink’s before ordering.
Evidence: Independently reviewed, same series. The Dink (2025 women’s test): women’s Gel-Resolution X, size and colour not stated.
Specs (women’s size 9, White/Pure Silver)
- Court: not stated by ASICS, which sells it as a tennis shoe; “any court surface” per Tennis Warehouse (retailer)
- Widths: standard on the linked row; ASICS sells a women’s Wide
- Weight: 13.5 oz in a women’s 8.5, Sky/Grey Blue (Tennis Warehouse); no ASICS figure read
- Outsole: AHARPLUS rubber; PGUARD in the forefoot’s inside area (ASICS listing)
- Stability: DYNAWALL and DYNALACING (ASICS listing)
- Warranty: not read on asics.com
Pros
- DYNAWALL stability and a two-piece midsole, per ASICS
- Women’s Wide sold for the same model
- The Dink’s 2025 tester valued the toe-box room
- Women’s playtests by The Dink in 2025 and 2026
Cons
- Sizing advice conflicts: ASICS says snug, The Dink’s testers found room
- Premium tier in this lineup
- Seller rotated between the ASICS storefront and Tennis Express when we checked
Who should buy it
A woman who wants a structured stability court shoe and is willing to check the sizing advice, or order the Wide.
Mizuno Women’s Wave Exceed Tour 7 AC, Snug, speed-focused fit
A woman with narrow or low-volume feet who wants a snug, quick-feeling all-court shoe.
$155.00 from AmazonAs of Oct 23, 18:00 UTCMizuno builds the Wave Exceed Tour 7 AC for “advanced tennis and pickleball players alike”: a WAVE plate and D-Flex Groove, ENERZY XP foam in the forefoot and heel, a DX Rubber outsole and “a 6-month outsole guarantee for long-lasting performance” (Mizuno adds “(Canada Excluded)”). AC stands for All Court on the Amazon listing, which Amazon.com sold. Mizuno’s page gives no weight; Pickleball Warehouse’s women’s playtest weighed 10.2 oz in a size 8.5.
Why it fits women, and for which feet: The Dink’s 2026 women’s test says it runs “on the narrower side” and takes a couple of sessions to break in, and The Dink’s tester says of the Mizunos she tried: “I’ve had mine for over a year with zero breakdown” (the article does not say which Mizuno model that refers to). Pickleball Warehouse’s four women playtesters (a retailer that sells it) split along foot shape: a narrow-footed tester who likes the snug fit of earlier versions found this one “ever so slightly narrower”, while another, with medium-width feet, said “The fit is quite narrow and the toe box is snug and shallow” and found it uncomfortable. The Dink does not state the size or colour tested.
Verdict
A snug, low-profile all-court shoe that women testers describe as narrow, so it is aimed at narrow feet; wider feet should look at the Enforce Tour 2 below.
Evidence: Independently reviewed, same series. The Dink (2026 women’s test): women’s Wave Exceed Tour 7 AC, size and colour not stated.
Specs (women’s size 7, Phantom Green-Glowing Apple)
- Court: All Court (Amazon listing title); Mizuno: for “advanced tennis and pickleball players alike”
- Widths: one width on the listing
- Weight: 10.2 oz in a women’s 8.5 (Pickleball Warehouse playtest); Mizuno publishes none on its page
- Outsole: DX Rubber (Mizuno); toe guard not published
- Midsole: ENERZY XP and NXT foams with WAVE plate (Mizuno)
- Warranty: 6-month outsole guarantee (Canada Excluded) (Mizuno)
Pros
- WAVE plate and ENERZY XP cushioning in a low-profile build
- Six-month outsole guarantee from Mizuno
- Little outsole wear in Pickleball Warehouse’s women’s playtest
- Sold by Amazon.com
Cons
- Runs narrow and needs a short break-in, per The Dink and Pickleball Warehouse’s testers
- Premium tier in this lineup
- Some women playtesters wanted more support
Who should buy it
A woman with narrow or low-volume feet who wants a snug, quick-feeling all-court shoe.
Mizuno Women’s Wave Enforce Tour 2 AC, Cushioned, roomy toe
A woman with average-to-wide feet who wants a cushioned all-court shoe with a maker's outsole warranty.
$150.00 from AmazonAs of Oct 23, 21:07 UTCThe Enforce Tour 2 is the other Mizuno here, built differently: Mizuno designed it “for the advanced tennis or pickleball player”, with ENERZY NXT foam “throughout the footbed”, a DuRubber outrigger outsole, a Dyna-Heel Lock and a “6-MONTH OUTSOLE WARRANTY” (Mizuno adds “(Canada Excluded)”). The Amazon listing, sold by Amazon.com, names it an All Court shoe; Padel Warehouse, a Tennis Warehouse store, rates it “Hard (All Court)” and lists 11.4 oz for a women’s 8.5.
Why it fits women: The Dink’s 2025 women’s test says “It does have a slightly wider toe box, which could feel roomy if you have narrow feet” and notes a longer break-in period. In Tennis Warehouse’s women’s playtest (a retailer), the wide-footed playtester said the uppers were “soft enough not to squeeze my wide feet”, while the narrow-footed tester would have preferred a narrower fit. The Dink does not state the size or colour tested. Of the two Mizunos, this is the one testers describe as roomy and plush; the Exceed Tour 7 above is the snug one.
Verdict
For women with wider feet who want plush cushioning in an all-court shoe; narrow feet may find it roomy.
Evidence: Independently reviewed, same series. The Dink (2025 women’s test): women’s Wave Enforce Tour 2 AC, size and colour not stated.
Specs (women’s size 9, Pale Yellow-Black Sand)
- Court: All Court (Amazon listing title); Hard (All Court) (Padel Warehouse)
- Widths: one width on the listing
- Weight: 11.4 oz in a women’s 8.5 (Padel Warehouse); Mizuno publishes none on its page
- Outsole: DuRubber with outrigger (Mizuno)
- Midsole: ENERZY NXT throughout the footbed; Dyna-Heel Lock (Mizuno)
- Warranty: 6-month outsole warranty (Canada Excluded) (Mizuno)
Pros
- ENERZY NXT cushioning throughout the footbed
- Slightly wider toe box, per The Dink’s 2025 woman tester
- Six-month outsole warranty from Mizuno
- Sold by Amazon.com
Cons
- Longer break-in period, per The Dink
- May feel roomy on narrow feet
- Premium tier in this lineup
Who should buy it
A woman with average-to-wide feet who wants a cushioned all-court shoe with a maker’s outsole warranty.
K-Swiss Women’s Express Light Pickleball, Versatile-fit entry pick
K-Swiss Express Light Pickleball
A woman who wants a pickleball-built shoe at the entry tier and is unsure where her foot shape falls.
$115.00 from AmazonAs of Oct 23, 18:00 UTCThe K-Swiss storefront’s Amazon listing, which sold the women’s 9 M we link, describes a pickleball shoe with DragGuard “in the high wear areas of the toe and heel”, DuraWrap against “excessive toe-dragging” and an OrthoLite sock liner (kswiss.com did not load beyond its reviews for our readers). Pickleball Warehouse describes a non-marking Aosta 7.0 rubber outsole with “good durability on any court surface” and lists 11.5 oz for a women’s 8.5. K-Swiss also sells a separate Wide version.
Why it fits women: The Dink’s 2026 women’s test calls it a versatile fit: “K-Swiss offers options for players who need more room, and overall it accommodates a wide range of foot shapes.” The sources disagree on break-in: K-Swiss says it is “designed as a stability shoe” and that “It may take some time to adjust to the fit” if you come from a sneaker, while The Dink’s tester found no break-in period. She expects players to replace them around every six to eight months, depending on how often they play. In the r/Pickleball women’s thread one owner called it the “most comfortable court shoe for me”. The Dink does not state the size or colour tested.
Verdict
A pickleball-specific women’s shoe that The Dink’s tester found accommodating across foot shapes, sold by K-Swiss at the entry tier.
Evidence: Independently reviewed, same series. The Dink (2026 women’s test): women’s Express Light Pickleball, size and colour not stated.
Specs (women’s size 9 M, Highrise/White)
- Court: not stated by K-Swiss in the text we read; “any court surface” per Pickleball Warehouse (retailer)
- Widths: M on this listing; Wide sold separately by K-Swiss
- Weight: 11.5 oz in a women’s 8.5, Turquoise/Black page (Pickleball Warehouse)
- Outsole: DragGuard at toe and heel, DuraWrap (K-Swiss listing); Aosta 7.0 rubber (Pickleball Warehouse)
- Warranty: not published
Pros
- DragGuard toe-and-heel rubber with DuraWrap toe protection
- Fit The Dink’s woman tester found accommodating across foot shapes
- Separate Wide version from K-Swiss
- Sold by the K-Swiss storefront
Cons
- Break-in advice differs between K-Swiss and The Dink
- The Dink’s tester expects replacement around every six to eight months, depending on play
- No published warranty
Who should buy it
A woman who wants a pickleball-built shoe at the entry tier and is unsure where her foot shape falls.
K-Swiss Women’s Hypercourt Express 2, Wide-forefoot option
women's 8 M · Tennis and pickleball
A woman with a wide forefoot who wants a cushioned court shoe that plays tennis and pickleball.
$130.00 from AmazonAs of Oct 23, 18:00 UTCThe Hypercourt Express 2 is a K-Swiss tennis shoe that the K-Swiss storefront’s Amazon listing also tags for pickleball. The listing names an Aosta 7.0 rubber outsole, a 180-degree plantar support chassis for midfoot stability, Surgelite cushioning, DuraWrap Flex and an OrthoLite sock liner, and says no break-in period is required. K-Swiss states no court type, and we found no weight with a size for the women’s model.
Why it fits women: Tennis Warehouse’s women’s playtest, written for the 2020 update by a retailer that sells it, lists “Good option for wide feet” as an upside and “Too wide for narrow feet” as a downside. Its wide-footed playtester said: “When I slipped them onto my feet I noticed a wider fit in the forefoot and a cushioned feel underfoot.” The model also came up by name in the r/Pickleball women’s thread. Of the two K-Swiss picks, this is the tennis-built one that testers describe as wide; the Express Light Pickleball above is the pickleball-built one.
Verdict
A roomy-forefoot court shoe that women playtesters with wide feet rated well; narrow feet should look elsewhere.
Evidence: Retailer review (sells it), not independent. Tennis Warehouse women’s playtest: women’s Hypercourt Express 2, size not stated.
Specs (women’s size 8 M, White/Black)
- Court: tennis and pickleball (K-Swiss listing); no court type stated
- Widths: M on this listing
- Weight: not published
- Outsole: Aosta 7.0 rubber compound (K-Swiss listing)
- Stability: 180 PSC plantar support chassis (K-Swiss listing)
- Warranty: not published
Pros
- Wider forefoot fit, per Tennis Warehouse’s women playtesters
- Surgelite cushioning with a 180-degree midfoot chassis
- No break-in required, per K-Swiss
- Sold by the K-Swiss storefront
Cons
- Too wide for narrow feet, per the same playtest
- The women’s playtest is by a retailer and dates from the 2020 update
- Built as a tennis shoe; no pickleball-specific outsole claims
Who should buy it
A woman with a wide forefoot who wants a cushioned court shoe that plays tennis and pickleball.
Wilson Women’s Pickle Pro, Roomy-toe entry option
A woman with average-to-wide feet who wants a roomy pickleball shoe at the entry tier.
$110.00 from AmazonAs of Oct 23, 18:00 UTCWilson’s women’s product page describes a pickleball shoe with “excellent midfoot support and a stabilizing toe box that accommodates wider feet”, a Midfoot Saddle Support System, a 6mm OrthoLite sockliner and a Duralast rubber outsole that Wilson says gives “maximum traction on all surfaces”. Wilson publishes no weight, and two retailers list different figures at different sizes and colours: Pickleball Central lists 9.8 oz for a women’s 8 in this colour and Pickleball Warehouse 11.2 oz for a women’s 8.5 in White/Cameo Rose. Amazon.com sold the women’s 8.5 we link.
Why it fits women: Verywell Fit named it “Best Overall for Women” after a woman tester with slightly wide feet wore it for its test; “The soft cushioning around the ankle made her feel secure”, and she appreciated its traction. Verywell also notes that some users find it too wide, with heel slippage. Verywell does not state the size or colour tested.
Verdict
A pickleball shoe with a roomy toe box, chosen by Verywell Fit’s woman tester, at the entry tier.
Evidence: Independently reviewed, same series. Verywell Fit: women’s Pickle Pro, size and colour not stated.
Specs (women’s size 8.5, White/Bay/Skipper Blue)
- Court: all surfaces (Wilson); Hard (All Court) (Pickleball Warehouse)
- Widths: one width; toe box “accommodates wider feet” (Wilson)
- Weight: 9.8 oz in a women’s 8 (Pickleball Central); 11.2 oz in a women’s 8.5, White/Cameo Rose (Pickleball Warehouse); Wilson publishes none
- Outsole: Duralast rubber (Wilson); toe guard not published
- Support: Midfoot Saddle Support System; 6mm OrthoLite sockliner (Wilson)
- Warranty: not published
Pros
- Toe box that accommodates wider feet, per Wilson
- Verywell Fit’s woman tester felt secure in it
- Duralast outsole rated for all surfaces by Wilson
- Sold by Amazon.com
Cons
- Some users report it too wide, with heel slippage (Verywell Fit)
- No published warranty
Who should buy it
A woman with average-to-wide feet who wants a roomy pickleball shoe at the entry tier.
Narrow, standard or roomy: what the women testers reported
The fit notes in this guide come from different people with different feet, so read them as a map rather than a measurement:
- Reported as narrow or snug: the Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 7 (The Dink 2026, Pickleball Warehouse’s playtesters) and, by ASICS’s own note, the Gel-Resolution X.
- Reported as neutral: the Skechers Viper Court Pro 2.0 (The Dink 2026); Skechers calls it Relaxed Fit, roomy at toe and forefoot.
- Reported as roomy or wide: the K-Swiss Hypercourt Express 2 (Tennis Warehouse’s playtesters), the Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour 2 (The Dink 2025), the Wilson Pickle Pro (Wilson; Verywell Fit) and, per The Dink’s testers, the Gel-Resolution X.
- Reported as accommodating several shapes: the K-Swiss Express Light Pickleball (The Dink 2026).
The Gel-Resolution X appears twice because ASICS and The Dink disagree.
What to look for in a women’s pickleball shoe
- A stated women’s fit. A maker’s note on women’s sizing (Selkirk’s women’s mold, ASICS’s “snug for women”) or a women’s playtest is evidence about fit; a women’s colourway alone is not.
- Width before size. Several makers sell a separate wide (ASICS, K-Swiss Express Light Pickleball). If a shoe “runs narrow”, a source’s half-size advice is a starting point; the sources here do not always agree.
- Court type. Match the outsole to where you play. The Mizunos’ Amazon titles say All Court, Wilson rates Duralast for all surfaces, and Skechers names the pickleball court surface. Selkirk and ASICS state no court type in the text we read.
- Toe and heel protection. K-Swiss names DragGuard at toe and heel, Skechers a rubber toe guard, ASICS a PGUARD layer.
- Warranty. Selkirk and Mizuno publish six-month outsole warranties (Mizuno adds “Canada Excluded”); the rest publish none we found.
- Weight, read with its size. The weights here are for women’s sizes 7, 8 and 8.5 from different sources, so a figure describes that shoe in that size, not how it compares with another model.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is the best pickleball shoe for women?
It depends on your foot. The women’s tests that rank for this search pick differently: The Dink’s 2026 test says: “The best women’s pickleball shoes in 2026 include the Skechers Viper Court Pro 2.0 for durability, the JOOLA R4lly for comfort and wider toe box fit, and the ASICS Gel-Resolution X for maximum lateral stability.” Verywell Fit calls the Wilson Pickle Pro its “Best Overall for Women”. We start with the Skechers, whose fit The Dink’s tester found “fairly neutral” and Skechers calls a Relaxed Fit, the Selkirk for a women’s-specific mold and the ASICS for structured stability.
Q. Which pickleball shoes suit women with wide feet?
In this lineup, the K-Swiss Hypercourt Express 2, the Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour 2 AC and the Wilson Pickle Pro were reported as roomy, and ASICS and K-Swiss sell separate wide versions of the Gel-Resolution X and the Express Light Pickleball. See our guides to women’s wide pickleball shoes and wide-fit options for women. Our roundup of wide pickleball shoes for women compares eight picks.
Q. What is the difference between tennis shoes and pickleball shoes?
Both are court shoes with lateral support; pickleball-branded models such as the Selkirk, Skechers, K-Swiss Express Light and Wilson here are built and marketed for the sport, while the ASICS, the Mizunos and the Hypercourt Express 2 are sold as tennis shoes that their makers or listings also suggest for pickleball. Our notes on the difference between pickleball and tennis shoes and whether tennis shoes work for pickleball go further. For shoes sold for both sports, see our guide to tennis and pickleball shoes.
Q. Which type of shoes should I wear for pickleball?
A court shoe with a rubber outsole made for side-to-side movement, rather than a running shoe. The r/Pickleball women’s thread adds that the right brand is the one that fits your foot shape. For the rest of the kit, see what to wear for pickleball. For outdoor courts, see our guide to outdoor pickleball shoes.
Q. How long do women’s pickleball shoes last?
It depends on how often and where you play. The Dink’s 2026 tester says of the Skechers Viper Court “I’ve had multiple pairs over the years” and “I actually just threw out a pair that lasted me about a year and a half”, and of the Mizunos she tried “I’ve had mine for over a year with zero breakdown” (neither quote names the model generation). She expects a K-Swiss Express Light Pickleball to need replacing around every six to eight months, depending on how often you play. Selkirk and Mizuno back their outsoles for six months (Mizuno adds “Canada Excluded”).

For a cushioned shoe, start with the Skechers Women’s Viper Court Pro 2.0 (check price) (neutral in The Dink’s test; Skechers calls it Relaxed Fit). If you want a pickleball shoe that its maker sizes on a women’s mold, with a six-month outsole warranty, take the Selkirk Women’s CourtStrike Pro 3.0 (check price). For structured stability, the ASICS Women’s Gel-Resolution X (check price) is the pick, once you have read ASICS’s sizing note against The Dink’s. Narrow feet: the Mizuno Women’s Wave Exceed Tour 7 AC (check price); wider feet and plush cushioning: the Mizuno Women’s Wave Enforce Tour 2 AC (check price). At the entry tier, the K-Swiss Women’s Express Light Pickleball (check price) suits a range of foot shapes, the K-Swiss Women’s Hypercourt Express 2 (check price), a tier up, suits a wide forefoot, and the Wilson Women’s Pickle Pro (check price) has a toe box Wilson says accommodates wider feet.
